4 Tips For Sustainable Vacay Outfits

When planning or packing for a trip, it’s super helpful to have outfits planned in advance so you’re not scrambling to find things that go together! I like to try things on beforehand and take pictures on my phone of the outfits and combinations!

RENT

Renting pieces is a great way to get those cute vacation looks without having to spend a lot and you’re contributing to a longer garment life cycle - YAY! Companies like @fashionpass, @nuuly, @renttherunway, etc. are great!

SWAP

You can swap with a friend, family member, someone on your trip, or with a swapping service or company like @swapsociety

BORROW

Ask a friend or family member if you can borrow an item! Be super careful and respectful of their stuff and return it in the condition you received it!

THRIFT

You can do this either in-person or online! Most of my swimsuits and beach hats I have found on @poshmark. But there are lots of other great local shops and online sites/apps like @mercari, @ebay, @depop, etc!

What is your favorite way to plan your vacation outfits?
