Our Stay At YOTEL Singapore Orchard: A Smart Hotel

Zach and I were lucky enough to squeeze in a few days in Singapore during our Southeast Asia trip this summer. Although Singapore is a small country, it has so much to offer and is very advanced and modern. There are lots of skyscrapers and big city life all nestled into about 278 square miles.

We stayed at the YOTEL Singapore Orchard on the famous Orchard Road, lined with luxury malls, shops, and boutiques. It is THE place to be if you’re shopping in Singapore! Although Zach and I love to go to these places, this time we did more window shopping than actual purchasing. Gotta save what you can for traveling and food!

At YOTEL we were graciously welcomed by “Mission Control”, (aka customer service staff) but checked in to our room on these really cool computers. The YOTEL Singapore Orchard presents a very futuristic decor and vibe. Adorable purple and grey robots named Yoshi and Yolanda could take room service, extra towels, water bottles, etc. - directly to the guest rooms. This is definitely a “smart” hotel!

During our stay, we were able to unwind and relax by spending some time poolside. Outside our window we had beautiful city views. The rooms were cozy, very clean, modern, and inviting. We would recommend a stay at the YOTEL during a visit to this beautiful city!
